Hi,

In two different australian sites the same release date for the new runaway game .

Both sites give the date as : 19 of november 2009 .

Is this the actual release date for the game in Australia? On the official site, it says the release date is now Q1 2010:

If it does come out on 11/19 in Australia, I'd like to import it. I've been waiting on this one.

I'd put more trust in the official site's date than an online retailer.

Actually, Runaway 2 released months earlier in Canada and Australia than the other major markets, so it's possible the same could happen again. Why, I don't know, but it didn't make sense the last time, either. I could try to chase down an answer from Focus Home, but it's probably faster just to wait on November 19th.

Focus Home's site noted that the game's release is less than a month away, on 10/28.

However, at the bottom of the same page, it says Q1 2010. It's possible they can be referring to the Australian release in the first line, but the remainder of the releases are held off until next year. But we'll have to wait and see. I am looking forward to this game, though. The second game was pretty far-fetched, but this one seems to have a much more intriguing plot (plus I haven't seen any signs of aliens

).

Where do you see 10/28 listed as a release date? I think that was the date the news item at that URL was posted. (Also 10/28 would have been October 28, which has already passed...)

Yes, that's what I meant, 10/28 was the date the article was posted, and less than a month from that date would be 11/19.
