Word is out on Secret Files 2 demo
Playable sampler sets the table for the sequel's upcoming release

With its scheduled release closing fast, it won't be long until the latest Secret Files are fully exposed, but for now players can occupy themselves with the playable demo of Puritas Cordis.

The sequel to Secret Files: Tunguska sees players once again controlling Nina and Max with the fate of the world hanging in the balance. This time around, the two have split after a short-lived romance, but still find themselves involved in a shared adventure when a series of "natural" catastrophes occur around the world. These disasters are really the machinations of a secret society known as Puritas Cordis, however, so Nina travels to France to investigate the mysterious order while Max witnesses their ruthless methods at an excavation site in Indonesia, and only between the two of them can an apocalypse be averted.

The demo actually begins in control of a different character, a Bishop who must ensure the safety of a vital document while dangerous pursuers close in on his church, before switching to Nina on a luxury cruise ship to begin her part in the story. The demo is fairly sizable at over 700 MB, and can be downloaded from FileFront.

Secret Files 2: Puritas Cordis is currently scheduled for release early next month.
