I have a GeForce FX5600 with 256 MB in my regular computer. This is perfectly fine for playing Myst Online and Myst V. Dreamfall however, which has worse (well, not as good) graphics IMO, requires a better videocard because it uses a different 3D engine. Luckily I'm also the proud owner of a MacBook Pro, which has an ATI Radeon X1600 with 256 MB. I played Dreamfall on that machine and it ran just fine in WinXP.
