EDIT: Oh, and about the bugs: the french version is riddled with english left-overs.

After crashes the game crashes so config changes aren't saved (though you could change it in the ini file I guess).

Thats odd, I DO occasionally get crashes upon exiting....but it never actually screws up my controls or anything.

It won't mess up your controls but it won't save changes you made either, I think.

Well, then wouldn't it be wise to make the changes, save and then exit? I also heard this was caused by INI edits, so try with a fresh default INI (enter the video options screen, it pretty much resets it)

I was never able to exit without a crash, and I've entered the video options at leasst once since I've started.

Hm, maybe it's time for me to make some reasearch. I mean, it's not exactly a dire problem, but that's still annoying.

I'm currently fighting my way up the celebrity ladder in the Arena. Fun fights there.

what increases your infamy and does anything happen if it increases because i checked out that character sheet thing and my infamy is like 35 and i dont know why (except the fact that ive been to jail four times and my highest bounty has been 2000 (so far))

doing bad things increase it, like the DB and theif quests...

Since I completed the Dark Brotherhood's quests first, my infamy was like 40, and my reputation 30. I didn't detect anything different. (right now I'm back at 40 infamy, 45 reputation)

you cant enslave the world to my knowledge but you CAN apparently find a spell to make people go on killing sprees.

Well, I want to be able to play as a hero and a villain. I usually do two characters. One evil and one good and parallel play. I never liked being evil in Baldur's Gate since the game got in the way. Knights of the old republic handled it nicely though.

yeah its like that because theres never anything that says "YOU ARE EVIL" like KotOR but you can do whatever you want whether you want to be a hero (yawn), a villain (EXCELLENT!) or an anti-hero (ROCK ON!!)

Just finished the main quest after close to 110 hours. I'm still going to try and finish off some sub quests too, so far I've done 156 quests in total.

There are some mods to fix that. I'm using one that keeps the original look of your character without change in the first stage of vampirism, just like some books in the Imperial City say.
